DOFF Steam
Cleaning

Designed and developed to effectively remove paint, biological matter and general dirt and grime without causing harm or shock to the substrate.

The DOFF Integra is a steam based cleaning system that utilises a normal water supply to remove some of the more resistant forms of unwanted matter from a range of surfaces.

The DOFF system is unique in achieving 150ºC at the nozzle end, making it a ‘superheated water system’.

Designed and developed to effectively remove paint, biological matter and general dirt or grime without causing harm or shock to the substrate.

The steam/superheated water will remove moss, algae, fungi and other biological matter and will also kill of spores. This can reduce the need to use chemicals during the removal process or as a protection against further biological activity.

DOFF cleans masonry, stonework and other surfaces using high temperature steam. Whilst the temperature of in the system is high, the pressure on the surface being cleaned is very gentle and volume of water consumed is low. The surface is therefore not saturated and will dry within minutes.

The DOFF is effective in gently removing:

Softwash Exterior cleaning are approved contractors of the Stonehealth Doff Integra steam cleaning system through their Rosette scheme.

The system has a valued reputation among Architects, Conservation Officers and other specifiers. The Rosette scheme allows Stonehealth to ensure the only bonafide contractors are considered for jobs that specify their system while also giving peace of mind to clients that the contractors they are using are sufficiently trained and knowledgable to successfully complete the job at hand.

To date we have completed a large number of prestigious jobs using our Doff system. Check out our projects page and gallery to see.

IBIX Micro Abrasion

Specialist cleaning and restoration using micro abrasive technology.

Here at Softwash Exterior Cleaning we are constantly looking to add to our range of specialist cleaning equipment.

We use IBIX’s latest micro-aero-abrasive Trilogy cleaning system.

This new technology allows us to reduce drastically the time for cleaning, paint removal, restoration and treatment of surfaces, all with a simple and ecological method, safe for the environment and the operators.

The IBIX is effective in gently removing:

The IBIX system is recommended for the cleaning of all types of natural stone, granite, sandstone, limestone, marble and travertine marble.

The dry IBIX process is suitable for the cleaning of monuments in stone, terracotta and brick, especially delicate ones which are overlaid with black smoke, atmospheric particles, carbonisation, and other deposits solidified in the base material whilst allowing the retention of the natural protection (patina).

The ergonomic IBIX gun, light and easy to handle, and the wide range of nozzles make it particularly useful when used on decorative pieces, friezes, mouldings and in undercuts.

Check out our projects page and gallery for some samples of the work we’ve undertaken with our IBIX system.
